AliExpress is a treasure trove of budget gadgets — but it's also full of products that look great in photos but fall apart in a week. We created AliTested to help you separate the gems from the junk.

Our promise: we never publish a review until we've tested the product for at least 3 months in real-world conditions.

How We Test Products

We follow a strict testing methodology:

1. Purchase & Unboxing: We buy the product ourselves (often using our own affiliate links) and document the experience
2. First Impressions (Weeks 1-2): Build quality, ease of setup, initial performance
3. Daily Use (Months 1-3): We use the product as a regular user would — commuting, working, exercising, sleeping
4. Long-Term Testing: How does it hold up? Does battery degrade? Does software get updates?
5. Honest Assessment: We publish our findings with real pros AND real cons

What Makes Us Different

Most tech review sites do unboxings or 1-week tests. That's not enough to know if a product is actually good.

We've seen too many products that:

• Work perfectly for 2 weeks, then die
• Have great hardware but terrible software updates
• Seem cheap but last for years
• Look amazing in photos but feel cheap in hand

Only long-term testing reveals these truths.
