TL;DR: AliTested earns a commission when you buy products through our links. This does NOT affect our reviews — we test every product for 3+ months and give honest opinions, whether we earn a commission or not.
FTC Compliance Statement
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255 "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising", we disclose the following:
AliTested is a participant in several affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to online retailers.
Our Affiliate Partners
We currently participate in the following affiliate programs:
- AliExpress Affiliate Program — for products purchased on AliExpress.com
- EPN (eCommerce Partners Network) — our primary affiliate network
- Admitad — secondary affiliate network
How It Works
When you click a link on our website that leads to AliExpress (or another retailer) and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. This comes at NO extra cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or visit the retailer directly.
How This Affects (or Doesn't Affect) Our Reviews
This is the most important part:
- ✅ We test EVERY product for at least 3 months before publishing a review
- ✅ We buy products with our own money (we often use our own affiliate links to offset the cost)
- ✅ We ALWAYS include honest pros AND cons — even for products we recommend
- ✅ We will NEVER recommend a product just because it pays a higher commission
- ✅ We will recommend products even when we don't have an affiliate link for them
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Links that may earn us a commission are clearly marked. They will:
- Have
rel="nofollow sponsored"attribute in the HTML - Be part of our "Check Price" buttons or product cards
- Lead to AliExpress or other third-party retailers
Our Testing Methodology
Every product reviewed on AliTested goes through the same process:
- Purchase: We buy the product (often using our own affiliate link)
- Initial Testing: Unboxing, setup, first impressions (weeks 1-2)
- Daily Use: We use the product as intended for 2-3 months
- Final Assessment: We document real-world pros, cons, and value
- Honest Review: We publish our findings — good AND bad
Products We Don't Recommend
We regularly publish reviews of products we do NOT recommend. You'll see these in our "Worth It or Scam?" series. The fact that we could have earned a commission by recommending them does not stop us from giving honest negative reviews when a product deserves it.

We rarely accept sponsored content. If we ever do, it will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" at the top of the article.
